Welcome to Wellow and District Dog Training Club.

 

Agility is, first and foremost, fun for you and your dog, but hopefully you will become addicted and want to go on and compete!  

 

Training is held every Wednesday night, all the year round. Please click on our Training tab to the right for more information about classes.

 

Except when working, we ask that all dogs must be kept under control and on a lead at all times inside and outside the school,  thus making a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.

 

 

Early training for you and your dog is taken slowly and steadily, with your dogs safety being paramount. Both you and your dog will be shown how to tackle all the equipment – i.e. jumps, tunnels, tyre, A-frame, dog walk and seesaw.  

 

We usually run, one or two shows or fun days every year, as well as a training day with a World leading instructor!

 

If you want to progress to competitions there are plenty to go to from March to October (and a few in the winter months) all within a reasonable distance.  

 

During the winter months we enter teams in the local Winter League of friendly ‘matches’ against other local clubs.  Everyone is welcome to attend these matches and to participate once their dog is trained to a sufficient standard – but a sense of fun is never far away.
